Strigolactones Affect Growth Parameters and Some Antioxidant Enzyme Activities in Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) under Salt Stress

External applications of strigolactones affect plant growth positively owing to the potential adapting plants tolerance system under stress conditions. In this study, effect synthetic analogue strigolactone (GR24) pre-treatment seeds salt-tolerant and salt-sensitive bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) varieties on parameters, antioxidant enzymes, such as superoxide dismutase (SOD), ascorbate peroxidase (APX) glutathione reductase (GR) activity salt were investigated. Salt has inhibited shoot development. Root development tolerant one was better than sensitive application variety caused inhibition APX GR activities, increased these activities. conclusion, GR24 an encouraging role in by stimulating enzymes against salinity.
